Hello! Things have been busy here for the last week or so. I didn't have anything done for "Finish It Up Friday" last week, but I have many things in progress. Today I'll give you a little look at some of them. The picture above is of a table runner that needs quilting. I wanted to try my new Creative Grids Scrap Crazy 6 templates so badly... I have many other ideas in my head for using the templates that I can't wait to try. The colors in this piece are so summery! All I can think of is poolside patio table or beach house. I am working on a quilt top for the Jaybird Quilt Sew Along. You can find more details about it here at the Sew Sweetness blog. I am a big fan of Jaybird Quilt patterns. I have the units almost finished and getting ready to assemble the whole quilt top. I received the perfect thread and pantograph for it in the mail this week. I am so excited to see this one completed. It needs to be done by June 13, so stay tuned for a whole blog post about this one soon. Above are some blocks I have done for my Disappearing Pinwheel Quilt. This is a wonderful quilt design from the Missouri Star Quilt Company. Mom, Aunt Brenda, and I are each making our own and working on them together. Someday when we are done I'll share all the details with you. As you can see, I am putting the finishing touches on the other table runners I have been working on - binding and labels. I am so happy with the finished result here. They will be added to my Etsy shop soon. I have also been longarming, working extra hours on my transcription job, and doing lots of other domestic stuff. I actually cleaned some last week. Next I need to exercise. Wouldn't it be nice if quilting actually burned some calories?? There are some Tuesday link-up blogs that I will be joining today. Click below to check them out. Thanks so much for stopping by to see what I am working on!! Also linking to Sew Cute Tuesday at Blossom Heart Quilts.

Vicki - thanks for your comment. We are all using different fabrics, so it is fun to see how they are turning out. The thing about this pattern is, it is relatively easy - just time consuming! Lots of cutting, sewing, pressing - recutting, resewing, pressing again, repeat again - you get the idea!
