Hello, friends. This week I finished two more table runners, another tree runner and this one with the little polar bears. Aunt Alice gave me this adorable polar bear print, and I fussy cut some of them out and pieced them into this design (last year around Thanksgiving, just now got it quilted). I custom quilted this with white thread. I love how at the ends of the runner it looks like winter wind blowing those silver snowflakes. You'll soon find this runner for sale here in my Etsy shop. I love getting these done. I'll be sewing some more tomorrow! I hope you have time to stitch this weekend, too! I'll be linking up, as usual, over at Crazy Mom Quilts Finish It Up Friday. Thanks for visiting :-)

Christmas will be here before you know it! The shelves in my Etsy shop are kind of bare, so I've been working on some Christmas table runners for the holidays and into winter. This pattern is one of my favorites - Baby Juniper from the book Angles With Ease - by one of my favorite designers - Heather Mulder Peterson. I have quite a few books and patterns from Anka's Treasures and have made many of them. This is one that I keep coming back to, and it's a great way to feature adorable fabric prints. Above you see before and after quilting. It makes such a difference, doesn't it? This table runner is pieced with just applique for the stars. I love the way that striped binding looks, too :-) Hopefully I'll get these listed in my Etsy shop tomorrow. I also have more to piece with a different fabric line for a totally different style.
I'm linking up again over at Crazy Mom Quilts Finish It Up Friday. Happy Friday everyone! It's so fun to see the excitement of new quilters! Aunt Darlene began quilting with the quilting group at our church over the last year or so, and she's hooked! This is her second Jump Rings quilt - a jelly roll pattern from Missouri Star Quilt Company - and you can watch the video tutorial here. I quilted this with an edge-to-edge design called Daydream and cream colored thread. Darlene's piecing was very good, and this turned out lovely. Thanks for letting me quilt for you, Darlene!! And here's a little peek at what I'm loading onto the longarm tonight! Thanks so much for visiting this week. I hope to have some finished table runners to share next Friday. I'll be linking up over at Crazy Mom Quilts Finish It Up Friday. Please stop back again :-)
