I got a lot of client quilting accomplished this past week, but the owners haven't seen them yet, so I'll have to share what I finished piecing with you! I have this really cool Aunt Alice, and when I first saw the Moda fabric line Alice's Scrapbag come out I knew I had to make something with it since it reminded me of Aunt Alice. I got a couple of charm packs to work with and some really nice tea-dyed looking background fabric at the Little Foot Quilt Shoppe and decided to make some table runners. This first runner is called Petals On A String, and the second is called Capri. The patterns can be found in these books by Heather Peterson of Anka's Treasures. I love making table runners because they are quick projects (great for using charm packs), and the author of these books is one of my favorite designers. And here's runner #2. There's not much better in the quilt world than a good old star. I never tire of them. My mother taught me to "never say never," but I think it's safe to say in this instance :-). I hope you enjoyed seeing these new table runners. I thoroughly enjoyed working with this pretty fabric line. After they are quilted, these will be up for sale in my Etsy shop.
I'll be linking up over at Crazy Mom Quilts Finish It Up Friday. Thanks so much for visiting. Love you, Aunt Alice!
