Batiks & Bubbles

Hello friends!  This week I finished this beautiful quilt for Sidney.  This one is really cool and an interesting design to look at.  The fabrics are all batiks except the black strips are Grunge, I think.  I just love the variety of quilts that I get to work on!

I quilted it with a green thread that blended wonderfully and the Bubbles pantograph.  Often times it is a good idea to choose a quilting design with curves, swirls, or circles to soften up the straight lines of geometric piecing.  It really turned out great!
