Over the last week I quilted this big beautiful log cabin quilt for a client, Barbara. She made this quilt for her son and daughter-in-law. Her son is battling illness right now, and it was my pleasure to be able to work on this special quilt so that Barbara can give this wonderful gift as soon as possible. I love Barbara's fabric selections. She even mixed some batiks in with prints. The outside border is fussy cut. She did beautiful work. This quilt was so big I had a hard time laying it out on my floor space. I quilted with a light blue thread and the edge-to-edge pattern Fandango. The quilting blends in really well, but you can see the nice curved texture it brings on the back of the quilt below. Thank you, Barbara, for letting me quilt for you!
I'll be linking up with Crazy Mom Quilts Finish It Up Friday. Thanks for visiting, and enjoy your day!
