Welcome! If you follow any quilting sites or blogs regularly, you have probably seen the Moda Be My Neighbor quilts (Google it!). It was a free block of the week beginning in September 2016. I was lucky enough to quilt one this past week for Becky. This was another fun one to work on because of Becky's lovely fabric combinations and all of the different neighborhood blocks. I quilted with a taupe gray thread and the "Tweet Tweet" pantograph design. Becky liked the idea of quilted birds all over the quilt. Can you find the bird in the center of the pic below? Here are some more blocks close up. Becky hand embroidered the birds scattered throughout the quilt. I love the sailboat, trees, and even the little mailbox. Congratulations, Becky, on finishing another amazing quilt, and thank you for letting me quilt for you!
I'll also be sharing over at Crazy Mom Quilts Finish It Up Friday. Come back again soon!
