Finished Stars & Geese Runner

Hello!  This week I managed to get the binding on this lovely table runner. This is a pattern that I designed myself using a charm pack (Kate Spain's Early Bird for Moda) and some background fabric.  But I also can't forget to mention that awesome Creative Grids Ultimate Flying Geese Tool that made the piecing possible!  See more about making geese in my earlier post here.  Consider adding this versatile ruler to your collection.  You'll love it!!

I quilted this by stitching in the ditch around the geese, similar stitch in the ditch with the stars, stipple on the background, and swirls in the border.  I really wanted the binding to match perfectly on this one, so I did use fabric from the same line for the binding.
