Janice's Beach Quilt

This week I've been imagining myself wiggling my toes in the sand as I quilted this lovely quilt.  Janice needed a quilt to take to the beach with her, so she made this one and asked me to quilt it for her. 

Janice chose the pantograph Breath of the Gods (obviously Poseidon's :-).  It really stands out beautifully on this quilt and was a wonderful choice.  I used a steel blue thread.  The backing is blue flannel.

I can totally relate to NEEDING a beach quilt.  I made one back in 2013 for our trip to the Outer Banks.  It was used and loved at the beach!
