Happy 4th of July weekend! This patriotic block was part of Karen's quilt that I worked on this week. It is another sampler quilt and the first quilt that Karen made, learning many piecing techniques along the way. It is a few years now since she made the top, but it is finally finished! I quilted it with a golden thread color and the pantograph design Honeysuckle. It is a dense quilting pattern, and it really looked pretty over the whole quilt. Here are a few of my favorite blocks in the quilt. Thank you, Karen, for letting me quilt for you!
I worked on a couple other quilts this week and some of my own piecing, so there will be no shortage of projects to blog about in the next couple of weeks. It's been a really good week quilting and spending time with my kids. I'll be linking up over at Crazy Mom Quilts Finish It Up Friday where other quilters show off their stuff, too. Thanks so much for visiting!
