It's officially winter, and I'm getting ready to hang this guy on the wall. I love how cute this little snowman quilt is! Over Thanksgiving weekend I did some sewing with my mom, Aunt Brenda, and Aunt Alice. We each made our own snowman quilt. Aunt Brenda had all of the pieces cut out for each of us, and all we had to do was sew! The pattern is called Snowy Day Quilt from the book "Ho Ho Ho Let It Snow" by Nancy Halvorsen. This book is full of adorable designs. Here's my finished wall hanging. The size is 26" x 35". I did custom quilting all over and tried to make it look like a snowy, blowy winter day. I think this quilt is pretty special because it will always remind me of quilting with my wonderful family. Tomorrow is Christmas Eve, and I'll be practicing the piano for church, doing a little cleaning, baking the last few cookies, wrapping the last few gifts. Christmas Eve is my favorite night of the year when our worship service ends with singing Silent Night in the candlelight. I wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!
As usual - I'll be linking up over at Crazy Mom Quilts Finish It Up Friday. Thanks for visiting!
