I'm so excited to share this quilt with you!! My mom pieced the Moda Modern Building Blocks quilt using the fabric line Alice's Scrapbag. It is big, and it turned out beautifully! She took a class at the Little Foot Quilt Shoppe in Evans City, PA, to encourage her to keep working on the blocks, and she did it. My dad is also her personal rotary cutting expert who helped, too. I quilted an edge-to-edge design called Fresco over the whole quilt in a light golden brown thread. This quilt is often seen made with modern solid fabrics, so I hope you enjoy this version using traditional style prints and colors. Mom also chose to put borders on this quilt top which is a little different than the modern styles. Isn't that an awesome quilt? There are so many different blocks to see. I delivered it to Mom tonight, and now she has a whole lot of binding to do. Thanks, Mom, for letting me quilt it for you!
I'll be linking up over at Crazy Mom Quilts Finish It Up Friday. Happy quilting!

Your Mum's quilt is great, and how nice to have a daughter to quilt it for her. Your quilting has certainly enhanced the wonderful piecing. Congratulations to you both!
