This past week I finished quilting another star quilt for Susan. The pattern is called "Shining Star." Susan chose the pantograph Entangle for the quilting. It turned out just lovely! She is going to hang it in her home. I do love star quilts. In fact, I have a couple hanging in my own house! These two stars are extra blocks from a quilt that I made for a wedding gift for my cousin and his sweet wife back in 2011. The pattern is Jelly Stars from Fig Tree Quilts. They are made from 2-1/2" strips. I used 2 jelly rolls and doubled the pattern. I must admit I'm glad I made left-overs for myself! Below you can see some of the finished quilt. This was quilted on my little Janome on the kitchen table. I am going to link this post up with Crazy Mom Quilts Finish It Up Friday. You can go there for more inspiration if you'd like.
Have a Happy Valentine's Day. I hope you enjoy your day with people you love doing things you love!

Just love Joyce's quilt. All of the others are outstanding. Could not pick a favorite. Just makes me want to try harder and make another one.
