Last week I told you a little about QUILT CAMP - a quilting weekend together with my mom and aunts - and I showed you Aunt Alice's quilt. This week I finished my Summer In The Park quilt. I actually just finished hand stitching the binding about 30 minutes ago! The pattern, again, is Summer in the Park from the Missouri Star Quilt Company. The fabrics I used were a pack of 2-1/2" Bali Pops strips in the Key Lime color collection. The outside border and binding is a coordinating batik. The solid sashing on the front is Kona Navy, and the solid on the back is Kona Celery. I quilting this on my Innova longarm machine with a green thread using the Hollyhock pantograph. If you make this pattern, you will have 6 or so squares left over, so you can piece them in the back like I did, if you like. Well, here is another silly picture from QUILT CAMP. My dad brought his hot rod car over for a photo shoot. The quilt in the back is a prop from Brenda's quilt collection. The sun was in our eyes, but we had fun, and it was a sight for all of the people driving by. ![]() Thanks for reading, and come back next week to see my mom's QUILT CAMP quilt. It is almost ready to come off the quilt frame. I'm linking up with Crazy Mom Quilts Finish It Up Friday. Head on over there for more inspiration.

Beautiful quilt! Thanks for sharing. I wish I had quilters in the family to get together with. That sounds like fun.
