I recently met a new client, Terry, and finished and delivered this quilt to her this week. Terry is new to quilting, and this is only her second quilt. She did beautiful work! I don't know the specific name of the pattern she followed, but I would call this a Carpenter's Wheel. It is one nice big block with borders added around it. The bright colors and design make this a gorgeous baby quilt. I quilted edge to edge with a meander in white thread. I like the simple quilting to allow the piecing and colors to really shine on this one. Thanks for letting me quilt for you, Terry! I am now working on my mom's Christmas quilt. I am using the pantograph Holly Berries. She wanted some shiny gold thread, as most of the fabrics in the quilt have metallic gold in them, and it is really looking good, especially on the red solid fabric. You can't quite appreciate the gold in this photo, but trust me, it's really pretty. Today I'm linking up again with Crazy Mom Quilts Finish It Up Friday.
Thanks for visiting!

I love both of these quilts!! The colors in the carpenter's wheel quilt are awesome....I have never made a one-block quilt, but I think I need to put one on my "to do" list!! And I really like the Christmas quilt too!
