I just finished the binding on this quilt this morning. It is pretty - it is covered in paisley designs - and I couldn't think of a more creative name for it. Do you like to look for quilt shops when you are out of town or on vacation? I do! This big paisley fabric came from a shop near Williamsburg, VA, a couple of years ago on vacation. The coordinating fabrics were purchased at the Quilters Corner shop in Finleyville, PA. ![]() The quilt pattern I used is called Sundance from Villa Rosa Designs. It is a great pattern to use for a big print that you love. It also goes together fast! Aunt Brenda made one also, and we worked together and got the tops done quickly in an afternoon. The pantograph I used is also called "Pretty Paisley." It is quilted with a light yellow thread - Butter from OmniThread. This was the first time I used this pantograph, and I love it - very pretty and feminine. I think this quilt will be going up for sale in my Etsy shop. Do you see those little red clips holding the binding above? They are really nice to have. I got them at Christmas time. I have been using pins for years, and I didn't get what all they hype was about the clips. Pins work just fine, right? Yes, they do, but you won't jab your finger with these, they clamp nice and tight and don't fall off, and if I drop one in the couch it is easier to find and I don't have to worry about someone getting stabbed by it later. They are wonderful for binding quilts.
The picture below is the beginning of a new quilt. Great colors, huh? I'll keep you updated. Thanks for reading and have a wonderful day!

Love the paisley fabric! It looked familiar; it appears I have the same piece in my stash. Great pattern, it really shows off the fabric. Nice work!
