I hope you aren't tired of hearing about QUILT CAMP yet, because there are still two more quilts to show you after this one! First, let me start by saying that Bonnie is my mom, so I'll be calling her Mom from here on out :-) If you previously saw Alice's quilt and my quilt, you can see that Mom's Summer In the Park Quilt looks very different. It is so pretty, soft, peachy... Mom was visiting Aunt Thelma, one of her favorite people, back in May. They went to a quilt shop where Mom found a jellyroll she loved - Mirabelle by Fig Tree Quilts. She used that jellyroll and some white background for her quilt. The backing is a solid peach she ordered from Connecting Threads. I quilted using the Honeysuckle pantograph. I had this one picked out in my head to be the perfect design for this quilt (but I didn't tell her that). Mom came over to choose her thread and panto, and she decided on the same one I was thinking of - definitely the perfect choice! The thread color is a yellow called Cheesecake. ![]() Aunt Sharon's quilt is going on the frame today, and Aunt Brenda needs to come over and work on her QUILT CAMP quilt soon. We are having a lovely day today here in Western PA - great for hanging quilts out on the line! I'm linking up with Crazy Mom Quilts Finish It Up Friday. Have a great weekend - and be sure to get some quilting done!
