Here is the last quilt to be finished from QUILT CAMP. If you haven't followed along in my previous posts, here's a little background. My mom, aunts, and I worked together on making quilt tops over July 4th weekend at Aunt Brenda's house. We called it QUILT CAMP. We each made our own Summer In The Park quilt using the pattern from the Missouri Star Quilt Company tutorial. We had a lot of fun quilting together. Brenda's Summer In The Park quilt is very pretty, and definitely a different style than the others. I think it is more contemporary with the gray background, elegant colors with the silver, gold, and black. The gold really seems to sparkle in this picture. Brenda used a jelly roll of the fabric line Aster from Windham Fabrics and a gray solid for the background. Brenda quilted this one herself on the Innova (yeah!!) using a pantograph called Camellias which is a large rose design. It looks great! She used a gold thread which shows up nicely on the front and looks beautiful with the gold in the fabrics. Great job, Brenda!! Well, I'll wrap up the QUILT CAMP experience with one last look at all of the quilts together. If you click on the photos in this gallery a larger picture should pop up so you can see them better. There are our quilts - lovely and unique as each of us are. So many people have commented on how they wish they had friends or family to get together and have QUILT CAMP with. We are very blessed to have each other. If there is a QUILT CAMP 2015 I'll be sure to share it with you next summer.
