Welcome back for another awesome QUILT CAMP finish! This is Aunt Sharon's Summer In The Park quilt. I love the way it turned out, and I hope she does, too! Sharon made her quilt with her own collection of blue and purple batiks and cut her own 2-1/2" strips. The background is a batik also with a creamy yellowish print. At QUILT CAMP one evening my dad brought his hot rod over for a ride. We took some fun photos of the event, and Aunt Sharon really wanted to take it for a drive, but my dad wouldn't hand over the keys. Sitting in the driver's seat was as close as she got. I thought her quilt would look pretty good in the hot rod, too. The colors look fabulous together, don't you think? Sharon chose a pantograph called Breath Of The Gods for her quilt and a light yellow color thread called Butter. The backing is a really pretty blue batik also. The quilting stands out great, and I love the way they coordinate together. ![]() Sharon, I hope you love your quilt. Mom and I think it is beautiful! Look for it in the mail soon.
