This week I finished this sweet quilt for Jenny. It is pieced with the fabric line Mon Ami designed by Basic Grey for Moda. Jenny used a couple of charm packs for it. I'm not sure of the name of the pattern, but Jenny also created the border design herself. Awesome! For the quilting, Jenny chose the edge to edge design that I have called Raindrops. Some of the fabrics in the quilt actually have raindrops on them, so that sealed the deal. It is a nice contemporary design. I used a gold colored thread that coordinated perfectly with the front and back fabrics. Here's my favorite piece of fabric in this quilt - a kitty on a bicycle. I love it! Thanks for letting me quilt for you, Jenny!
I'm linking up over at Crazy Mom Quilts Finish It Up Friday. Thanks for visiting and happy Friday!

Beautiful work! I love your raindrops design, and the Mon Ami fabric is so cute. I've seen that pattern before, somewhere - I like the border Jenny has used for it.

This free pattern is called "Charm Box" and the link below takes you to a page sponsored by "Fat Quarter Quilt Shop" where you can download the pattern as a pdf file and/or watch a 5-6 minute tutorial on you tube. I created the simple design of the border and corner blocks to complement the main pattern and to bring out the 'blues' vs. the 'greens." The raindrops quilting pattern was a happy coincidence! It turned out beautiful! Thank-you Terri and everyone at Little Foot Quilt Shoppe in Evans City, PA for the input!
