Check it out! I won second place in the table runner category at the Butler Farm Show last week. I have never entered quilts in the Farm Show before, so this was exciting for me. I do like this table runner a lot. It is made using the Bejeweled pattern from The Quilt Company and a fabric jellyroll called Chantilly. I did some custom quilting on it that I was very happy with, too. If you like this and want one for yourself, check out my Etsy Shop! * Summer Sale - 10% off longarm quilting * Terri Faust Quilts is having a 10% off edge-to-edge quilting sale until the end of summer. I would love to do some beautiful quilting for you! Contact me and get your quilt top, batting, and backing to me by September 21 to get the discount. If you are not local to me, you could choose free standard return shipping instead. Click here for more info. I have so many quilting projects going on, but for some crazy reason I decided to start something new. I have the Hex N More ruler and have never used it before. I was thinking about what I could make with it. I also have some fat quarters from Art Gallery Fabrics Color Me Retro line. I have been looking at them for a long time now and could not decide what to do with them. So I got them all out and started cutting. I fussy cut the jewel shapes to make these cool kaleidoscope flowers, added some triangles, and stitched them up into these half hexagon patches. They have been laying out on my living room floor and kitchen table now for about a week as I brainstorm what to do with them. Well, the brainstorm is over for now, so I put them away, and now my family will be happy to eat at the table once again.
Don't worry, I have other things to do, like catching up on my mystery quilt from the Little Foot Quilt Shoppe. I love a good mystery! It's not too late to join if you like mysteries, too, and it's free. Click here to find the directions. I will show you that project another time, but it is looking pretty. Aunt Sharon's Summer In the Park quilt should be coming off the longarm tonight. Check back on Friday to see it! Thanks for reading and have a great day! Today I'm linking up with: Fresh-Squeezed Fabrics Show and Tell Tuesday and Freemotion by the River Linky Tuesday.

I love the Hex N More ruler! And just made a quilt using Julie's newer Sidekick ruler. Your fussy cut hexie pieces are great! So cheerful! Congratulations on the ribbon!

The kaleidoscope blocks are awesome! Please contact Jeni with a pic at incolororder.com. She designed the fabric and would be so excited to see it used so uniquely
