It has been kind of a stressful week getting my kids back to school. It's late Friday night and I'm tired, but I wanted to share with you what I finished this week. I loved both of these client quilts I got to work on! Actually just a few minutes ago I took this adorable little patriotic quilt off the frame. It was made by Sherri. I love the clever use of the star fabric, and she strip pieced red and white fabric for the stripes. Sherri really liked the Starlets pantograph for this one, and she chose cream colored thread that would stand out a little on the fabric. I think this little quilt turned out great. Hopefully Sherri will, too! Next up is a quilt made by Susan. This is the second quilt I have done for Susan using this quilt pattern. It is a Schnibbles pattern called Morning Joe. Wow, those stars just make me smile. I have to make my own one of these soon! Susan chose the Hollyhock pantograph for her quilt and a green thread. The thread color really looks beautiful with the fabrics, and this panto is definitely one of my favorites. The design looks very nice with the fabric prints. The picture above I took at an angle placing the star "on point." It is interesting to see how the pattern looks different with just a 90-degree turn.
Thank you ladies for having me quilt for you. It was fun! Sherri and Susan both got the Summer Sale 10% discount for their quilting. It's not too late to take advantage of this opportunity.
