Maybe I haven't blogged for a while, but that doesn't mean I haven't been quilting! Here are some projects I'm working on right now. I'll show you some pictures and keep it short and sweet. Flip Flop Table Runner - two actually. These are fused applique, and I am doing a blanket stitch with my Janome. The pattern is from the book "Table Please, Art To Heart" designs by Nancy Halvorsen. This is so fun. I purchased a little fabric for the background, but the flip flops are all made from my stash. I'm currently quilting three baby quilts for a new client, Diane. They are so adorable! I am quilting meander stitching on them because Diane wanted me to go around the applique designs to help them stand out a little more. On the flower quilt at the bottom I did a flower and swirl design. I'm sharing with Work In Progress Wednesday at Freshly Pieced. There is so much to see there! You should check it out.
Stop back again here on Friday. I have something really cool to show you. Happy Wednesday!

Love the flip flops, perfect for summer! Do you think your client Diane would share the pattern name of the cute dog and cat quilt? The cat with his feet in the air is just adorable!

I LOVE the flip flops. SO fun! I really need to get on making some table runners. So many cute ideas and a nice sized project to get it done more quickly than my full sized quilts. :-)
